For the ♡ of Flea Markets.

After seeing the movie "Midnight in Paris" onboard: Etihad Airways to be exact, I landed in Paris
and knew right away that I had to go straight to:
Marche aux Puces St. Ouen de Clignancourt : a complex of 2'500 - 3'000 open stalls
F L E A ♡ M AR K E T
my favorite.

It took awhile for my mum & our guide (Ryan Arbilo) to get there. I had forgotten the name of the avenue and just tried to recall the movie over and over again, took fragments of images from what i saw in the film and used those as vague guides to get us there. & little did we know after getting lost again & again we were finally at Av de la Porte de Clignancourt

Oh reminiscing everyday about all the lovely bits of vintage jewelry/teacups/books/old records/paintings/jars/ and anything you can imagine in a never ending street.

It was a weekday, I don't quite remember what day exactly but I can still call to mind that the weather was a bit damp, but still /sunny & the influx of people into the stalls was just right.

The vendors/owners of their tiny kiosks were mostly friendly, exceptionally passionate about the goods that they sold. Every single stall, literally sold something unique, i believe all of the pieces there were one-of-a-kind.

It was like a dream, walking about each corner. There were treasures everywhere, in all shapes, forms, sizes, and colors -evidently having a solitary story behind their facade.

I didn't even bother w/ the shopping, I was busy snapping photos, taking down notes, talking to the owners about the history of some of the pieces.

It was such a refreshing yet familiar atmosphere. I still catch myself in a daze whenever I look back and think about this day.

Until next time...

Zee's Crystal Ball.

It was Zee Lifestyle Magazine's 15th Anniversary >> Crystal Ball at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The ladies & gents looked red carpet ready as they entered the ballroom, mingled, & enjoyed the night's festivities.

Me, Katsy Borromeo, & Jude Bacalso were the hosts for the evening.

The tables were decked out w/ stunning candelabras & rose petals scattered gracefully...

There was an auction - dinner - fashion show - afterparty.

Halloween w/ The Stars.

Haven't updated this blog in awhile. I have been so caught up with lots of different things that I can't wait to share with you all!

So Matteo gives me a call & tells me he's going to Cebu since the Binondo Team was going to do a few mall shows. What better timing than to have that day/night = HALLOWEEN!

The whole crew arrived, got busy the entire day, and finally had a quiet meal at PINO where I met up with them. I was so bummed to find out that they didn't have costumes prepared because they got so caught up with work!

Carewell's Souk Bazaar

Sept 24-25 was Carewell's first (ever) bazaar ! Over 80 vendors were selling an array of products the entire weekend. I never thought about joining bazaars, only because my price points will not be able to compete with other low priced merchandise and I felt like my products were too unique for that market ?

For a good cause, (for Carewell -a Cancer Resource and Wellness Center )and for the reason that one of the organizers, Terri Madrigal happens to be a close friend of the Guidicelli's (who are my family) I agreed.

With very little expectation... It was a huge success! I got lots of positive feedback from customers, and by the end of the bazaar my wire jewelry & minaudieres were sold out! So much for being afraid that my items were too unique! ---------> it was actually the reason why everyone was so fascinated!

Favorites sold..

and more..

Shop www.miaarcenas.com for the latest.
They are all of one-of-a-kind so reserve while they're
in stock.

Thank You to the Carewell Community for inviting me
and everyone who came to shop!
